ABOUT
StudioReigh is an Oklahoma-based creative project, and “Reigh” is the alias used by artist and digital media professional Jessica Thaxton-Ross. She has been involved in the Arts since her youth, starting out as a traditional artist competing in school and community art contests.
As an adult, she has obtained two degrees, one in Computer Science for web development, and another in Digital Communication Arts from Oregon State University. In 2021, Jessica spent time interning with NASA as part of the Artemis Communications team. While there, she developed the new illustration style for the newly rebranded Artemis and created beautiful and informative scientific infographics aimed at K-12 students and the general public.
Since then, Jessica has relocated to rural Oklahoma, where she lives with her husband and their pets, a cat, a dog, and a bearded dragon.

ARTIST
I have been involved in the arts since being able to hold a Crayon. Many years have passed since those toddler dinosaur(ish) drawings, and my creative skillset now includes not only traditional art mediums but digital as well!
I started learning digital illustration around 2012 with the cheapest Wacom tablet I could find. Since then, I have gone back to school and have learned much more about illustration, graphic design, motion design, animation, and film editing than I ever would have expected. I am even dabbling in 3D modeling and spatial design for VR!
My focus now is to create immersive, beautiful experiences that can be shared across all our digital media.
